WICK COUNTRY PARK WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS - October 18th 2023

This month's wildlife walk took place on Wednesday 18th October.

It was a cloudy, windy day and proved to be a quiet day for wildlife. A few resident birds were seen, and one or two possible migrant thrushes were seen flying overhead but none were identified. Highlight of the day was a large flock of Starling flying past as we were at the lake. We estimated at least 80 birds were in the flock. No butterflies or dragonflies were seen, and we may be done for these for this year, but you never know these days! Full sighting details are given below.

The next walk will take place on Wednesday 15th November at 10.30am, but, if you have been on one of these walks previously, you will receive an emailed reminder nearer the date.
