Overview
We held our first ever Kites Festival back in September 2007, and since then it gradually evolved into the fantastic event we held in 2018. Please click on the links below to see more details of the fun that has been enjoyed over the past years. One of the all-time highlights was the visit from the BBC Essex 'Quest' team in 2016.This event was suspended in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic; it is now suspended due to the withdrawal of the Essex Kite Group and a chronic shortage of volunteers to organise and run it.
